Amateur writers write for the benefit of writing. During this may create copious amounts of inconsequential content or provide them personal pleasure, the speaker does not something you want to increase business prospects, improve the world, or move their audience to move action.

1. Specific Audience
If you need to reach your audience, it’s absolutely essential that you understand them, take out of your own personal perspective, and write with their perspective. Among the first things I do with every piece I write is identify my target market, things such as age, gender, race/ethnicity, location, income level, purchasing habits, hobbies, talents, interests, etc.
When I know who I’m dealing with, I’m prepared to custom tailor the answer to resonate with them specifically. For example, words such as “revolutionary,” “cutting-edge,” “fresh,” or “in vogue” will more likely resonate with an 18-25 generation, whereas a 60-70 get older will probably have negative reactions your family, who like items that are “proven,” “safe,” and “sensible.”
2. The Right Venue
By venue I mean the medium utilized to convey your message, including things such as magazines, newspapers, journals, books, radio and TV ads, blogs, websites, etc. The venue you decide on is, in large part, determined by your audience.
One example is, if I’m writing a lengthy article on monetary policy intended for scholars and economists, the most beneficial venue is maybe a scholarly journal. Few animators can stand to learn long blocks of meaningful text on an display screen, I probably won’t have the right amount of space to create my case in many magazines, etc. On the other hand, if my content is concise, simple, and intended for a diverse audience, perhaps newspaper article is sensible.

3. The Right Variation
There exists three forms of transformations: know, feel, and do.
